A day with the Family
There are several theme parks in our area. Most revolve around water adventures. Here are a few:
Xel Ha
Just minutes from Casa Buena Suerte, Xel Ha (pronounced Shell
Ha) is a beautiful park where you can ride bikes, snorkel, dive and
experience sea life.
It is geared toward families with children so
there are restaurants and lots of activities for small children.
Xcaret
About 30 minutes from CBS, Xcaret is a larger park with more
activities including live music, a theater, Swimming with dolphins, 11
restaurants and more.
The park is somewhat Disneyesque but it does have authentic Mayan ruins and a great deal of cultural value as well as being a great adventure for kids.
Xplor
Of the 3 parks, this is the most interactive.
The adrenaline
charged park consists of treetop adventures, zip-lines, 4-wheel drive
excursions through riverbeds and jungles, climbing and more.
For an active family outing or for adults who want a little excitement, it’s a lot of fun.
